As a constant traveller I am always looking beyond the shores of Australia to chase beauty, wanderlust and adventure. I have realised these past months that everything I am chasing lies within my backyard and for the longest time was blind to it. My best friend and I recently returned from a girls trip to the state of Victoria and it left such an imprint that I am looking to pack up my things to relocate to this exquisitely scenic state.
I will be the first to comment on the fact that my friend has many talents but the one I benefit most from is her ability to find all the best places to eat, stay, wine and dine. Sarah is a luxury travel guide unto herself and it was because of her we found ourselves at quint Daylesford for a girls weekend away.
Located at the base of the Great Dividing Range, Daylesford is known for its natural springs boasting the largest concentration in Australia making it your one stop place to relax and rejuvenate. In addition to being renowned for wellness, this little township is a gastronomic adventure. Promising that you will be spoilt for choice is an understatement because everywhere you turn you will be seduced by the aroma of locally sourced wines, cheeses and fresh baked goods to name a few.
With all that Daylesford has to offer, a two to three night stay is perfect but be warned when the city beckons the natural surroundings will be difficult to leave.
