Reviewing The Row

If there is a brand that is the mothership for minimalism it is The Row

Founded by powerhouse duo Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2006 this brand has become my spirit animal. Now let’s call it as it is at Seymour & Ford we are predominately focused on promoting the incredible talent within the Australian fashion industry. But attention must be paid when a brand knocks me out of my seat and leaves me rolling on the floor in awe. I woke up this morning for my daily Vogue fix, which I am dependant on as some adults with coffee, and The Row’s Spring 2020 collection featured at New York Fashion Week BLEW ME AWAY.

Tailored

Purposeful

Understated

Refined

It was simply stunning.

From relaxed cuts, defined waists and androgynous styling the collection was the stuff capsule wardrobes are made of. Though the price point of The Row is high it is clear these are pieces that can be effortlessly styled together and will retain their timeless sensibility due to their classic cuts and colour.

The women of The Row believe in quality. By paring back their ensembles to clean lines and simple yet crafted garments they exude confidence that is both distinct and quiet. The Row understands the art of dressing and with every collection inspires the consumer with their aesthetic. So should you be a minimalist and looking to invest in pieces that will go the distance so as to reduce your carbon footprint, turn to The Row.
