What I Wore | Sammy Robinson X Princess Polly

As a consumer in a world of influencer collaborations I find myself rarely fazed or inspired to purchase something. As I have stressed before I am very particular with what I like and when it comes to clothes only want to invest in quality pieces that boost my wardrobe.

As a constant traveller I am further on the hunt for pieces which are versatile, conservative yet stylish. I have been a fan of Sammy Robinson for close to two years now and find her content combined with her overall presence to be both genuine and refreshing. Naturally, when Sammy revealed she was working on a line with Princess Polly I wanted to support someone who was working hard at achieving their goals and who I find inspiring when it comes to my own life. Generally I find Princess Polly to be a little too young for me when it comes to their range but I was confident I would find something I would love as Sammy’s overall style has a foundation in neutral tones with an affinity for relaxed fits. With that said the Mandy Jumpsuit had me at hello.

Unfortunately, I did pick up a size 8 which was a little big for my frame so I am now eagerly awaiting for a small size to come into stock because this jumpsuit is beautiful and definitely what I want with me as I travel through Asia in the coming months. Though unlined the linen is incredibly thick yet breathes so it is perfect for warmer climates and as I am someone who prefers to have my body covered it spoke to me on so many levels of sun protection. The Mandy is the epitome of versatile as you can dress it up with heels, a clutch and lace bralette for a night out or wear it with sandals, a wide brimmed hat and cross body bag when travelling. For those days that cling to winter’s chill team with a black cashmere polo underneath the jumpsuit with the zipper worn down or dress the look down entirely with white sneakers.

Needless to say when it comes to this piece obsessed is an understatement. Congratulations Sammy on creating a stunning line that truly reflects your style yet can work with the aesthetic of so many women. Here’s to all the boss ladies working hard towards their goals x
