Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia, d+k Active incorporates sustainable decisions into their everyday practices. From producing locally to limit their impact, to re-purposing left over fabric to recycling all of which cannot be re-used d+k Active approaches every aspect of their business mindfully. If this wasn’t enough, this activewear brand continues to take things to the next level by sustainably producing the energy needs required to sustain their headquarters.

Certified for their ethical practices, Bay Active may be small but are powerful in their approach to the sustainable fashion movement. Creating garments built to last and to ultimately form part of a circular economy, investing in Bay Active is an investment for life as their items are grounded in quality and timelessness. Their no plastic policy is expressed not only in their natural and regenerated fibre composition but the inclusion of compostable packaging.

First Base

Motivated to get back to basics and embrace a more minimal lifestyle, First Base was born amongst the natural beauty of Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach.
Sustainable practices are at the heart of First Base who are committed to using natural fibres like organic cotton, bamboo and re purposed materials like Econyl across their range. What I found particularly inspiring is their endeavour to further reduce their carbon footprint by planting a tree every time someone shops through First Base.

Across the swimwear sector it is increasingly common to see recycled ocean waste transformed into regenerated nylon. Nimble Activewear is determined to showcase that the same principles can be applied to activewear. Their collections feature their signature COMPRESSLITEā„¢ and MOVELITE, fabric constructed from recycled plastic bottles. Their attention has also been redirected to include sustainable practices across their packaging with the inclusion of compostable bags and swing tags crafted from recycled PET and organic cotton.
