Take a moment to reflect on the clothes that lie within the confines of your wardrobe. Is there a piece or two that you gravitate towards come rain, hail or shine?
For me, as you most likely have seen throughout the archives of Seymour & Ford, it is my trusty blazer, blue jeans and white tee. For a child that refused to wear pants I like to think I have come a long way. What I appreciate most about these three staples is that combined they form a foundation that can be easily paired with any shoe type, any piece of jewellery, any day of the week.
Lately I have began experimenting with different denim looks. For a long time there you would have never seen me out of a skinny leg jean … but your girl is growing up, she’s experimenting and she’s living life on the edge. In fact, it has been months since I donned a skinny leg.

I love a seventies inspired wide legged construction.
I love a boyfriend jean.
I love a classic boot leg.
And I love a little detailing as seen with these 3×1 jeans that at this point may as well be attached to my body permanently.
As I have experimented with different cuts I have come to learn to keep it minimal, clean and sleek on top. Especially when opting for a denim cut that is the antithesis of a skinny silhouette be sure to opt for a beautifully crafted blazer like the Duchess of Cambridge by Sarah Lloyd to create length and to define the body.
